Tina Heyer, LMP
I studied Massage Therapy at Inland Massage Institute in Spokane, and graduated
at the top of my class in February, 2005. I started my own practice in May, 2005.
First I worked in Brown's Addition inside the old Massage Magazine building, then
moved to Alder Family Chiropractic for 2 1/2 years. Now I work inside Longevity
Health Center with Jodi McMahon, Licensed Acupuncturist. I am a native of the
Spokane area, and have always been drawn to natural forms of healing. I believe
the body has an innate ability to heal itself, given the right circumstances and
treatment.
Circadian rhythms relate to the sleep and
awake cycles of our bodies. Receiving massage
reduces stress and relieves pain, thereby
improving our sleep and balancing our daily
cycle. Consequently those of us who receive
massage on a regular basis are more alert when
awake, are more productive and generally feel
better. When our bodies are happy, we are
happy.
